TARUN BHATTACHARYA is one of the leading players of Santoor today. Groomed by his father Robi Bhattacharya ( disciple of Late Radhika Mohan Moitra ) and later by Dulal Roy, he is presently under the special training of Pandit Ravi Shankar. Individualistic in style, Tarun incorporates "Meends" into the playing of Santoor, a talent which is truly unique and exhilarating to the audiences worldwide. Coming off brilliant performances worldwide, accompanied by Bikram Ghosh on Tabla, he looks forward to enthralling his audience here. A regular artiste on All India Radio and Indian TV, he has also worked with Pandit Ravi Shankar and George Harrison on a special project. BIKRAM GHOSH is one of rising stars of Indian percussion. Having been trained initially by his father, Pandit Shankar Ghosh, he is currently under the tutelage of Pandit Gyan Prakash Ghosh. A representative of the Farukhabad Gharana, he has also ventured into the Carnatic style of percussion and has become very popular as a proponent of North-South Rhythm Jugalbandis. He has accompanied almost all leading musicians worldwide and features regularly on All India Radio and Indian TV. Bikram also holds a Master's degree in English literature.
