Meandering
amidst the tortured throngs
Running behind materialistic pursuits
Blinded by the dualistic delusions
The beguiling beauty of the magic illusions
The worldly vibrations are unbearable
I cant stand this ruthless onslaught
Of the mystic mirage.
I crave for thy proximity,
I weep for thy sight,
I desire thy infinite grace,
Thy divine smile, thy love filled eyes,
This separation Ive borne enough;
I cant take it any longer
My lips quiver, my muscles tremble
As my swollen eyes weep torrents
The lord calleth comes the announcement
As summons from my master arrive
My right eyelid throbs,
I see good signs everywhere,
An unfamiliar joy I feel, as a current of thrill passes through me.
My lord has summoned me, Im going to see him, I
announce
My duties will have to wait
The academic assessments have to be postponed
Excited preparations, saints for company, joyous journey to the city-
Where the Lord of the Universe resides.
My limbs tremble, spine shivers- as a strange fear envelops me.
The anxiety mounts as the great moment arrives
In His presence, a supernatural calm descends on my entire being
Unfamiliar feelings arise
My eyes perceive the very source of their sight
My fortunate hands touch those holy feet
My tongue, as though dead, speaks no word
No prayers arise as I transcend my thinker
No emotions I feel, as my feeler dissolves.
The painful realisation of my finite proportions
Dawn on me suddenly,
As I step out, to face the ruthless onslaught
Of the scorching rays of the burning light giver
My existence is my own false perception
The brief moment of non-being, I remember
The eternal words of the great master come to my mind
"LIKE, A SALT DOLL ENTERING THE OCEAN
The soothing embrace of my divine mother
As she flows with glittering mirth
The hours filled with playful plenty
In my mothers bosom
Staring at the infinite blue sky
In the kingdom of the absolute, relative values off the world of variables know no meaning
O saints, O sadhakas
O yogis sitting in hours of meditation
O rishis, residing in dark icy caves
Leave thy practices, leave thy contemplation
For, the infinite joy, the unending bliss
The release from the world of plurality that you seek
Is right here in Pandhari..............
